Horton Plains National Park sits above 2,100 meters in the Central Highlands and is the easiest place to walk inside the World Heritage montane landscape. The standard visitor route is the World's End loop, a roughly 9-kilometer circular trail past Little World's End, World's End escarpment, and Baker's Falls. Off-track walking is not allowed. Mornings are usually clearer than afternoons, when cloud rolls in across the escarpment.
