The World's End loop is the standard visitor walk inside Horton Plains National Park. The trail leaves the visitor center, climbs gently across grassland and cloud forest, reaches Little World's End (about 2 km), continues to the main World's End escarpment with its 870 m drop, and returns via Baker's Falls and the Belihul Oya stream. Total distance is around 9 kilometers, taking 3 to 4 hours at a relaxed pace. Start before 6 a.m. for the clearest views; cloud usually rolls in across the escarpment by mid-morning.
